Who ProjektMind Is (and Isn't) For

Most software tries to be for everyone. We've taken the opposite approach.

ProjektMind is built for a specific person doing a specific job. If that's you, it fits well. If it's not, something else will serve you better — and we'd rather tell you that than have you pay for a tool that doesn't match how you work.

Who ProjektMind Is Built For

Software implementation project managers in vertical markets — specifically:

  • ERP implementations (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)
  • Utility billing and CIS platforms (Cayenta, Oracle CC&B, Itineris, etc.)
  • HRIS and payroll systems
  • Niche vertical SaaS implementations
  • CRM rollouts with significant configuration and data migration

The common thread: you're managing complex, multi-phase projects with multiple stakeholders, significant configuration work, data migration, UAT cycles, and a go-live that has real consequences if it goes wrong.

You're typically carrying 5–15 of these projects simultaneously.

You produce structured artifacts — RTMs, decision logs, meeting summaries, status reports, sign-off documentation — and you spend more time than you should maintaining them.

What We Mean by "Implementation PM"

We mean someone who is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a software implementation — from kickoff through go-live and hypercare. Not someone overseeing a build team. Not an agile scrum master. Not a PMO manager who reviews status across programs.

The person who's on the client call, who's tracking the configuration issues, who's following up on the data migration sign-off, who's writing the weekly status report.

Who ProjektMind Is Not For

Agile / scrum teams. If your primary workflow is sprints, backlogs, and velocity tracking, ProjektMind isn't your tool. Look at Linear, Jira, or Shortcut.

General project managers. If you're managing marketing campaigns, construction projects, or internal initiatives, the artifact set and domain language won't fit your work.

Enterprise PMO organizations. If you have a dedicated PMO with existing tooling, compliance requirements, and enterprise procurement, ProjektMind isn't the right fit right now.

Teams who don't log. ProjektMind's value compounds with logging discipline. If your team won't capture meetings, decisions, and action items consistently, the tool can't help you.

The Honest Version

We built ProjektMind because implementation PMs in vertical markets are underserved by existing tools — and because the PM managing 12 simultaneous implementations is carrying a cognitive load that general PM tools weren't designed to handle.

If that's your reality, we built this for you.
