Introducing Team Access — Share Projects Without Sharing Everything
Implementation projects don't happen in isolation. You have stakeholders who need visibility. You have junior PMs you're mentoring. You have teammates who are covering while you're on PTO.
Until now, sharing a project in ProjektMind meant giving someone full owner access — which comes with a subscription cost and writes to everything. That's not the right fit for everyone who needs to see what's happening.
Today we're launching Team Access, a new way to share projects with the right people at the right level.
Viewers — Free, Read-Only, Scoped
You can now invite any active team member as a Viewer on a specific project.
Viewers can see everything: meetings, action items, decisions, project memory, RTM, the timeline, status reports, go-live readiness — the full picture. But they can't add, edit, or delete anything. No AI generation. No uploads. No changes.
And it's free. Viewers don't need their own subscription.
How to Add a Viewer
Open any project and click the new Team tab in the project navigation. You'll see:
- A list of everyone currently viewing the project, with a Remove button
- A dropdown of your active org members who aren't already viewers
- An Add Viewer button
That's it. The viewer gets access immediately — no invite email, no extra steps.
The Viewer Experience
When a viewer logs in, they see a clean dashboard showing only the projects shared with them. Inside each project, the nav looks familiar but write controls are hidden — no Edit buttons, no Generate buttons, no upload sections. Just the data.
The Copilot panel (Sage) is also hidden for viewers. Sage is an owner tool — for drafting, generating, and querying. Viewers are there to read, not to prompt.
Transfer a Project
Sometimes ownership changes. A PM hands off to a teammate, or you're reorganizing how projects are assigned across your team.
You can now transfer any project to another active org member. Open the project, click Transfer in the header, pick the new owner, and confirm. You'll automatically become a Viewer on that project — keeping your access to the history without staying in the owner seat.
Rename Your Team
Small thing, but asked for more than once: you can now rename your organization directly from Settings → Team. Click Edit next to your team name, type the new one, and save. It updates everywhere immediately.
Team Access is available on all plans. Viewers are always free. Transfer and team management require an active subscription.
If you've been waiting to bring a stakeholder into the loop without giving them the keys — now you can.
