Meeting Log — From Raw Notes to Structured Artifacts

Implementation PMs spend a significant chunk of their week in client calls. Discovery calls, configuration reviews, UAT walkthroughs, steering committee updates, go-live readiness checks. The information density is high. The window to capture it accurately is narrow.

Most PMs take notes somewhere — a Word doc, a OneNote page, a Notion database — and then try to remember to pull the action items out and put them somewhere else. Then try to flag the decisions. Then try to update the status in their tracker. It's a multi-step manual process that usually gets partially done, if at all.

What the Meeting Log Does

ProjektMind's meeting log is where you capture calls in a structured way. Each meeting entry includes:

  • Date and attendees
  • Meeting notes — freeform, capture what happened
  • Decisions flagged — within the notes or as separate entries, decisions are marked and flow into the decision log automatically
  • Action items extracted — with owner, due date, and status, linked back to this meeting

You're not filling out a form during the call. You're capturing what happened and letting ProjektMind structure it after.

Transcript Processing

If you record your calls (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet), you can paste the transcript directly into ProjektMind. Sage reads the transcript and extracts:

  • A structured meeting summary
  • Key decisions made
  • Action items with owners and due dates
  • Risks or blockers mentioned

You review and confirm. The meeting is logged. The project memory is updated. The whole thing takes less time than writing a recap email.

What Gets Generated From a Meeting

Once a meeting is logged, Sage can generate:

  • A client-facing meeting recap formatted for email
  • An internal status update reflecting what changed
  • A follow-up action list with owners and due dates
  • An updated risk register entry if new risks were surfaced

One logged meeting feeds multiple artifacts. That's the leverage.

Meeting logging and transcript processing are available on all ProjektMind plans.
